My nephew Jack Caden recently took part in a white collar boxing match at the Leeds Armouries in aid of cancer research, we recently lost our Mam to the dreaded disease so it was a touching day for us all. After undergoing 6 weeks rigorous training Jack was paired with another lad of similar size weight and experience.
In all there were 36 fights that evening and what a night, Jack was fight number 18 and after stopping his opponent twice in the 1st round the referee called the fight off 30 seconds from the end of round one as Jack was too strong for his opponent, declaring our Jack the winner.
Grease Guru sponsored jack and his sponsorship efforts were fantastic, he was awarded with a certificate for gaining the most money sponsored for the evening (£1570) so all in all a fantastic evenings entertainment!!
